Some designate this monument as “El Escorial Gallego”. His style is Renaissance. It has 110 m. of length. It emphasizes its grandeur and the balance in the disposition of its elements. Built with granite from the country, that goes browning with time. The maximum height of the facade in 23 m, passing the height of the building of 30. It shows us a total symmetry. In the middle, an airy porch, that of the church, which consists of two parts.
· The lower one: Doric style, padded laterals in which they open oculi and windows. In the middle, on the great door, inscription in Latin: “The Cardinal D.Rodrigo de Castro, Archbishop of Seville, donates to the Society of Jesus, for the use of youth, temple and school, consecrated to the Virgin Mary.”
· The superior: Ionian style. Óculo on each side. Large central window. Under the window the shield of the founding Cardinal, and on top dividing the pediment, the shield of Spain.
· Before the façade, a great antojana, which allows the Renaissance way to observe the whole of the building.
