Don Carlos, accompanied by the mayor of Monforte de Lemos, Mr. José Tomé Roca, and members of the municipal corporation, visited the monumental area of ​​the Royal College of the PP. Piarists accompanied by Father Javier Agudo, Managing Director of the Foundation, Mrs. Estefanía López, current director of the school, Don Jorge Valcárcel, manager of the school, Pablo Blanco, former director of the school and other members of the educational center.

On June 1, Saturday, at the headquarters of the Royal College of the Piarist Fathers of Monforte, held events celebrating the 150 years of Piarist presence in Monforte de Lemos. A Eucharist at 12:00, a time of open doors in which former students were able to witness the innovations at the School, and a fraternity meal arriving at 2:00 p.m. that lasted until 5:00 p.m. A hundred people attended, including former students, teachers and Piarists. It is worth highlighting the presence of the mayor of Monforte and president of the Provincial Council of Lugo, Mr. José Tomé Roca; Mr. Francisco Conde, former Minister of Industry of the Xunta de Galicia and today a deputy in Madrid, but above all alumni coming from distant places to share the day and celebrate the meeting with their former colleagues.
